At UBC we take the Great Commission seriously. We believe the Church is the instrument by which Jesus reaches the lost. In our effort to make disciples of all nations, we will balance our efforts among local, regional, national, and global opportunities. Borrowing from the geographical orientations in Acts 1:8, our missions strategy seeks to make disciples:

                                                                         - locally (in Northern Kentucky)

                                                                         - regionally (in Kentucky)

                                                                         - nationally (in the United States)

                                                                         - globally (around the world)

Moore Activity Center

For several years UBC has been partnering with the Moore Activity Center in Covington, KY. The M.A.C. is connected with South Side Baptist Church and seeks to meet the needs of the community and share Christ. We go three times a year to assist with their outreach programs. At Easter we help with an egg hunt for the kids in the neighborhood, in the summer we do a week long Bible club called Fun in the Son, and in the fall we help with their annual fall festival. These are great opportunities for UBC to partner with another church in reaching a community with the Gospel! If you would like to participate in one of these opportunities please contact our Pastor of Students and Missions, Allen Brooks.

Women's Missionary Union

The Women's Missionary Union of Union Baptist Church has been active in missions since the early 1900's. These mission-living ladies meet at 2:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month. We experience wonderful fellowship as we learn, pray, and help to lead our church in hands-on ministry. We are actively involved in Operation Christmas Child, the Turfway Racetrack ministry, assisting our local schools, the Angel Tree project and so much more. Please join us in sharing God's love locally, regionally, and to the ends of the earth.

God's Appalachian Partnership (G.A.P.)

The partnership with G.A.P. goes back several years. Each year we send a group to McDowell, KY to serve at G.A.P. for their annual Christmas Project. We are responsible for helping in many different areas including providing meals for families in need, providing toys for parents that can't afford them, and helping children find something special for their parents/guardians to say thank you for being there. It is a truly uplifting experience that we look forward to participating in each year. For more information on G.A.P. please click here.

Quito, Ecuador

Every two years Union Baptist Church offers an international mission opportunity to Juniors and Seniors in High School. For this mission we go to Quito, Ecuador through Access International and the International Mission Board. This is a truly life-changing opportunity for our students and adults. While this opportunity exists specifically for students, it is open to adults as well. If you have interest in giving toward or participating on the next trip to Quito, please contact our Pastor of Students and Missions, Allen Brooks.
