The Children’s Ministry at Union Baptist Church exists to provide a loving, nurturing and safe environment in which we teach children the importance of a personal relationship and life with our Savior, Jesus Christ. This is done in a loving, caring, and safe environment for Infants through 5th Grade by putting them in age appropriate groups, and through a variety of learning and fellowship opportunities. The ultimate goal is leading them to knowledge and salvation in Jesus Christ, and disciplining those who know Him.
Regular Activity Schedule
Sunday
- Nursery (Birth-24mos.) 9:30am-12pm
- Sunday School 9:30am-10:30am
- Preschool (2-5yr old) & Kdg – Grade 5
- Children’s Church (2-5yr olds, K-5th Grade) 10:30 – 12pm
Wednesday
- Family Meal 5:30-6:15pm
- At 6:30pm children have an evening of fun, fellowship, music & learning with friends.
*Activities occur throughout the year and are announced.
Notes: All children’s workers have been approved by UBC pastoral staff and have a Background check on file. Safety is a huge priority in our Children’s Ministry here at Union Baptist Church.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church is the best hour of a child’s week here at UBC. Children will experience worship, high energy games, characters, skits, prayer, bible stories, scripture and more. Your child will not want to miss out! This ministry is located upstairs in the Kids area on Sundays. Kids check in begins at 10:30am. (K-5th Grade)
Kid’s Sunday School
Kids 2-5yrs old, K-5th Grade join us on Sunday Mornings for Sunday School. In Sunday School, your child will experience Bible lessons, crafts, games, and missions. This is a great opportunity for your child to have fun, but also learn Bible truths and to develop a missions heart. This ministry is located upstairs in the Kids area on Sundays at 9:30am.
Nursery
Union Baptist Church offers a safe and loving Nursery for Sunday morning service for Infants birth to 24 months of age. This is located on the main floor of UBC.
Preschool
Union Baptist Church offers a 2-5 year old preschool class for Sunday mornings. This is a fun environment for our preschool children to learn about Jesus on their developmental level. This is located in our kids area upstairs.
UBC Kids Medical Release Form
This form is required for any Children’s Ministry activity that takes place off of UBC property. These events include but are not limited to camp, field trips, etc. Once you complete this form please return to the church office.
