Summer Sermon Series:

Our current national crisis ha s left many without jobs, financial security, and, most of all, hope. In the midst of this difficult time, God desires for His people to recognize that He is still on the throne. One man who understood this was the apostle Paul and nowhere does Paul’s trust in God shine brighter than it does in the book of Philippians.

Philippians is known as the book of joy and yet it was written by Paul while in prison! Wouldn’t you love to know the secret of a man who could live with such faith behind bars? If so, please make plans to be with us at Union Baptist Church each Sunday this summer, beginning June7th, as we study this amazing book of hope and optimism.

Summer Music Fun Time!

Summer Music is back! We’ll join together on Wednesday mornings for our “Summer Music Fun Time!” We will meet each Wednesday, beginning July 1st, from 9 am until Noon. Each participant will be asked to bring a brown bag lunch. As in years past, we’ll rotate through music, games, crafts and then all join together at 11:30 to eat lunch together, dismissing at 12:00. If you are interested in participating, please see Miss Pat sometime this month to get your music so you can start working on it! We’ll present our musical Sunday evening, August 16th! Hope you’ll join us because we will have LOTS of fun!!! Moms and Dads, there will be a sign-up sheet for weekly helpers! Please take a turn!
